Knott’s Berry Farm announced plans to continue their series of successful food festivals as the theme park remains closed. Beginning November 20, on select dates through January 3 Knott’s will host the “Knott’s Taste of Merry Farm” event.
Starting back during the summer with the Taste of Calico, followed by the Taste of Knott’s, and the ongoing Knottās Taste of Fall-O-Ween, Knott’s Berry Farm has pivoted brilliantly to themed, ticketed food festivals during this atypical season when the theme park is required to remain shuttered. They’ve been so successful that they won an “Industry Leader” Golden Ticket Award for their flexibility and creativity.
The Taste of Merry Farm festival will try to capture the Christmas spirit in the same way their annual Knott’s Merry Farm event normally does, just without the rides. Expect lots of decorations, and over 60 special foods and drinks. You’ll also be able to shop from the park’s stores as well as from 23 different local craftspeople.
As with all of the Knott’s “Taste” events, you need to get a reservation and tasting card ahead of time. The number of cards sold for each day is limited, and they’ve sold out before, so we recommend getting yours early.
Full details on how to get your reservations, which dates the festival will run, and all of the foods available can be found on the Knott’s website. If you make it to the festival, take some photos and share them with us on social media @Coaster101!
