Goliath Opening Day Photo Gallery
Yesterday, Six Flags Great America’s triple world-record-breaking wooden roller coaster opened to the public. While I rode Goliath the day prior at the coaster’s media preview, I was really excited to see true park guests’ reactions to Rocky Mountain Construction’s latest creation.
The wait averaged between two and three hours (at least while I was at the park from late afternoon into early evening). While some guests complained that the ride was too short in length, it was rare that I heard a train return to the station without a round of applause from riders.
I think Six Flags Great America has a real winner on their hands.
See the photos below:
- Goliath riders’ hair exemplifies the coaster’s insane airtime.
