Universal Studios Hollywood has cancelled the “Bill and Ted’s Excellent Halloween Adventure” show for the remainder of Halloween Horror Nights this year.
The remaining nights for Halloween Horror Nights 2013 were October 24-27, October 31, and November 1-2.
In a statement on the Halloween Horror Nights Website, Universal Studios wrote: “After thoughtful consideration, Universal Studios Hollywood has made the decision to discontinue production of the Halloween Horror Nights’ “Bill & Ted” show for the remainder of its limited run. ”
As of this posting, there had been no change to the “Bill and Ted’s” page for Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights. There has been no word if the Orlando version of the show will be cancelled as well.
Edit: According to a tweet from the Official Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Night’s twitter feed, their Bill and Ted show is “based on [their] own original script, and will continue to run as scheduled.”
The true reason why the show was pulled was due to an article that was picked up by the Huffington Post.

A shame this show from 2013 got cancelled all because one person couldn’t take a couple jokes and understand the show is not for kids or for those easily offended and whined about it online, which many news sources immediately backed. It’s a shame America is being taken over by such oversensitive people who can’t learn if they don’t like what they see, they have a right to leave the show while it’s in progress.
