Poll: Announce it or drag it out?

Over the past few years, many parks have utilized viral marketing campaigns to build hype for their forthcoming attractions. Some of these campaigns are rather simple, while others (i.e. Hersheypark) are long and drawn out. Other parks still opt to simply announce the attraction with very little, if any, viral marketing.

The Ride Institute of Technology is the center of Hersheypark’s viral marketing campaign for their rumored 2012 coaster. The campaign began in late 2010.

My question to you is: Would you rather a park simply make the announcement or drag it out through a viral marketing campaign?
