Skyrush Receiving New Seats and Restraints in 2024 at Hersheypark

Hersheypark today announced that Skyrush will open in 2024 with all-new seats and restraints that will offer riders “added comfort while experiencing the adrenaline rush they know and crave.

The investment will also include a reimagined station with a new color scheme, lighting effects and a custom soundscape.

Skyrush opened in 2012. The Intamin prototype wing coaster stands 200 feet tall and features a top speed of 75 mph along its 3,600 feet of track.

Skyrush’s original lap-bar restraints gained a reputation for being uncomfortable for some riders due the pressure placed on the legs.
