Busch Gardens Williamsburg Announces Details for Food & Wine Festival

Get ready for a “Safe Foodie Paradise” as Busch Gardens Williamsburg has announced details for the 2021 edition of their annual Food & Wine festival, which starts April 2, and continues through May 23.

The fan-favorite event will feature “new flavors in bloom” at the park and with enhanced health and safety measures, including limited capacity, reservations, increased cleaning and sanitation, temperature checks, and face covering requirements, guests are invited to take their taste buds on a one-of-a-kind adventure through 11 internationally inspired food and beverage kiosks as they sample tasty treats, including many new unique dishes and specialty beverages.

This year’s Food & Wine Festival menu features more than 25 festival favorites and fresh twists on classic cuisines from around the world that pair perfectly with more than 75 wines, brews, and cocktails. This will be the first time in over a year where more than 100 acres of Busch Gardens Williamsburg will be open, allowing park guests to explore all 10 European villages and experience some of their favorite coasters, rides, and live entertainment!

For roller coaster enthusiasts counting their credits, Griffon, InvadR, Verbolten, Apollo’s Chariot, and Grover’s Alpine Express will be open! (For those keeping score at home, according to the above graphic, that means no Loch Ness Monster, Alpengeist, Tempesto, or Pantheon, but attraction availability may vary and is subject to change!)

This festival will take guests on a savory, sweet and scrumptious culinary trip through Virginia; Mexico; Hawaii; Brazil; Jamaica; South Korea; Italy and the Mediterranean. To complement the dishes, an array of specialty beverages, such as the all-new Honeybee Hurricane, the Manta Margarita, and a variety of refreshing Sangria choices, will all be available.

The Food & Wine Festival at Busch Gardens Williamsburg will debut new savory dishes including Spam Musubi with sushi rice, Chicken Bulgogi and Chicken & Andouille Gumbo, which are all sure to satisfy taste buds. Guests will also be able to savor many returning fan favorites like tuna poke, bacon and cheddar hushpuppies, Churrasco grilled beef and local she-crab soup.

For those with a mean sweet tooth, do not fret, as the Food and Wine Festival will also feature several “sinfully sweet” eats as well. From pineapple coconut mousse, to Beignets, honey and cinnamon Loukoumades, Horchata and more, if you’re looking to satisfy your cravings, look no further!

And because what would a trip to Busch Gardens be without an adult beverage or two, (for those of age, of course!), the festival will also feature several all-new cocktails like the Dark & Stormy with spiced rum, Ouzo Lemonade and Rumchata. For those not of age, the park will also feature several new non-alcoholic options like Chocolate or Vanilla Banana Milk.  In all there are more than 75 beverage choices, including cocktails, craft brews, local wines and hard seltzers, to pair with the 25 “tasting” options, leaving you with an endless array of combinations to satisfy any palate.

The best way for guests to savor and save on their favorite dishes and drinks at this year’s Food & Wine Festival is with a sampler card. Guests can purchase 10 or 15 item samplers to use at each food and beverage kiosk to explore dishes and drink offerings with ease starting at just $49 for a 10-item sampler.
