Luna Park is making impressive vertical progress on its new-for-2014 Zamperla coaster, Thunderbolt.
The park shared some exciting photos of the coaster’s lift hill structure on Facebook.
So far the construction has been focused on the 125-foot-tall vertical lift hill.
It looks just about complete (minus track, of course).

The 2,000-foot-long coaster will flip riders upside down three times and will reach a top speed of 65 mph.
According to the park, the coaster is “on track” to open on schedule: Memorial Day weekend (May 24-26, 2014).
