Washington State Fair is building the relocated Typhoon coaster from the Santa’s Village amusement park, and fair officials need your help in choosing a name for the coaster.
Pictured above is the Typhoon coaster model at the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds.
The coaster stands 62 feet tall, is 1,772 feet long and reaches a maximum speed of 45 mph. The coaster features an iconic inclined loop as seen in the photograph above. The coaster will debut during this year’s Washington State Fair, which will run from September 6 to September 22.
The person who submits the winning name will win two season gate passes to the Washington State Fair and two vouchers valid for 20 rides.
The contest is open to residents in Washington, Oregon, California, Alaska, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia.
