The wait is over. Alton Towers has revealed the name of its under construction Gerstlauer coaster: The Smiler.
Riders will plunge nearly 10 stories during the coaster’s 3,838 feet of track. Each train will seat four riders (four rows of four riders abreast).
Although Alton Towers hasn’t revealed all of Smiler’s surprises, having a name is a great start.
The park also released some great construction photos. Construction crews still have a large part of the coaster to complete, including the drop.
Visit The Smiler’s website to learn more about the coaster. The coaster will open later this year.
