Is it storm chasing time yet? While there are still pieces of Storm Chaser track arriving at Kentucky Kingdom, the coaster continues to make significant progress.
You can see the horizontal ledgers in place that there are still a few unfinished sections of the 2,744-foot-long coaster.
Track was still arriving on site as late as this weekend. Crews are installing the track as soon as it arrives on site.
Many of the coaster’s ledgers are in place and ready for track. This will no doubt help expedite the construction process.
The coaster’s lift hill motor and gear have been installed.
With that machinery already in place, hopefully testing can begin soon after the track is finished.
