Located in Bonner Springs, Kansas, outside of Kansas City, the second Mattel Adventure Park will feature many of the same rides and attractions as the first Mattel Adventure Park in Glendale Arizona, which is currently under construction.

These include Hot Wheels-themed roller coasters such as Hot Wheels Bone Shaker: The Ultimate Ride and the Hot Wheels Twin Mill Racer.

The tamer, family-friendly Hot Wheels Bone Shaker coaster will feature the famous hot rod’s skull design, while the double-looping Hot Wheels Twin Mill Racer guarantees a serious adrenaline boost for all riders.

Like its Glendale counterpart, this Mattel Adventure Park will also feature other iconic Mattel toy brands like Thomas & Friends. The Thomas-themed World of Sodor area will feature five family-friendly “experiential attractions and rides” including a dedicated indoor play space designed for younger guests.

Mattel Adventure Park Kansas City will also feature a Barbie Beach House, complete with the “Barbie Dream Closet Experience,” an interactive retail experience allowing guests to design and build their customized Barbie sets. The Barbie Beach House will also feature a Barbie-themed flying theater and The Barbie Rooftop restaurant and bar.

The theme park will also include “He-Man vs. Skeletor Laser Tag” where Masters of the Universe fans can battle it out for Eternia in a large laser tag arena designed to resemble the likeness of the iconic Castle Grayskull fortress.

The park will also feature a mini golf experience with 18 holes inspired by popular Mattel games such as the Magic 8 Ball, Pictionary and others. It will be joined by a large UNO card game-inspired climbing structure.

Mattel Adventure Park in Kansas City is set to open in 2026, with plans to break ground later this year. For more information, visit the Mattel Adventure Park website.
