Six Flags New England Reveals “Dinosaurs: A Walk-Thru Experience”

Six Flags New England is one of the very last parks in the country to announce an opening date, but now the park has unveiled their plans for the season. Well, sort of. Dinosaurs: A Walk-Thru Experience will debut at the park April 10th and run through May 23rd.

As described by the park, Dinosaurs: A Walk-Thru Experience will be a one-way “self-paced virtual educational tour” that will take guests through the prehistoric era of dinosaurs. The experience will feature 20 life-size dinosaur animatronics with “realistic movement and sound.”

Guests will be able to scan QR codes at each exhibit to learn more about the dinosaurs on display. Dinosaur-themed activities and a kid-friendly puppet experience will also be offered.

None of the rides at Six Flags New England will be operating, but select food stands and retail stores will be available.

The experience will be free to Six Flags Members and Season Pass Holders, and $19.99 for all other guests. Buy tickets and make reservations by clicking here.

The park will be open from 11AM to 5PM April 10th through the 25th, and open the same hours for weekends only in May up to the 23rd. Six Flags’ “Do the Six” COVID safety protocols will still be in effect. The park has not provided any other information on when normal operation of rides will resume.
