The holiday season is upon us, and parks are beginning to flip the switch on their Christmas-themed events and activities. Hersheypark kicks off its annual Christmas Candylane event today and has a holiday- and chocolate-infused lineup of attractions and entertainment for guests through the New Year.
Four million lights will coat the buildings, trees and attractions across the entire park along with other decorations to get you in the holiday spirit.
But most importantly for us:
Hersheypark Roller Coasters Operating at Christmas Candylane
For 2017, Hersheypark is adding the Sidewinder boomerang coaster to the roster of roller coasters open during the holiday season (weather permitting). Others include:
- Wildcat
- sooperdooperlooper
- Cocoa Cruiser
- Wild Mouse
- Laff Trakk
In total, more than 50 rides will be open during the Candylane event, including the new-for-2017 Hershey Triple Tower.
What else is in store for guests attending Christmas Candylane? The new “A Music Box Christmas” will make its grand debut. Event classics such as Santa with his live reindeer, Rudolph’s Skating Pond and the choreographed NOEL light show will return to the entertainment lineup.
