Cedar Point Releases Valravn On-Ride Video
Cedar Point’s Valravn opens to the public this Saturday (May 7) and to ramp up the anticipation for the big debut, the park has released an on-ride POV video of the Bolliger & Mabillard dive coaster in action.
Watch it for yourself below:
Valravn is the world’s tallest, fastest and longest dive coaster. It stands 223 feet tall and features a 214-foot vertical drop, reaching a top speed of 75 mph. It contains three inversions throughout its 3,415 feet of track: a 165-foot-tall immelmann, a dive loop and a zero-g roll.
The coaster features three floorless trains with 24 riders sitting in three rows of eight across.

The POV didn’t change my opinion of the ride. I still think the ride looks boring and uninteresting. Except I’d say that it made my opinion WORSE.
The reason, look at all of the dead space, you could have done some nice things with that to add to the ride, instead it just looks like it was placed there and could be put in another park, not what I expect out of Cedar Point.
The view is incredible and the first drop is amazing. Besides that, yeah, the rest of the ride is pretty forgettable. For a non-rider, it is cool being able to walk under or very close to all of the coaster. My full review is coming soon…
