Coaster101’s very own social media manager, Larry Treece, is raising money and riding roller coasters all day in the Fifth Annual Coasting for Kids event at Michigan’s Adventure on June 9th. The event raises funds for Give Kids The World Village (GKTWV), a Central Florida nonprofit “storybook” resort that provides cost-free, weeklong vacations to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families from around the world. Since its founding in 1986, GKTWV has welcomed over 97,000 families from all 50 states and over 68 countries.
Larry will participate in a marathon session of coaster riding on two of Michigan’s Adventure’s coasters.
He will ride Thunderhawk in the morning and Shivering Timbers in the afternoon.
