Banshee Receiving Finishing Touches

Kings Island General Manager, Greg Scheid @KIGMGREG has been tweeting new images of the park as they prepare to open for the 2014. Banshee is finishing up testing, so now all that’s left is to add the final touches to the surrounding area and get it ready for Media Day and the park to open on April 18.

The new shaded queue area for Banshee, which will also include the new FunTV being installed across the Cedar Fair chain.

The walk way into Banshee’s queue receiving its concrete. Notice the sign above the path says “Haunted Hill” and the various headstones scattered around the ride.

Banshee isn’t the only thing that’s going to be new. The front entrance is losing the old turnstiles and a more open entrance is being implemented, much like what was installed at Cedar Point last year. Also the main marquee sign at the front of the park is being upgraded to have a new LED screen, so be on the lookout for that as you head into the park this year.

Banshee’s completed sign, dubbed “Eve” by the park. Fits very well with the Gothic theming for Banshee.
