“Brick by brick,” construction at LEGOLAND New York Resort is moving along as the park edges closer to opening to guests later this year. The good folks at LEGOLAND New York were kind enough to share a few photos and a video of the construction progress of the Resort.
Included in the above video are the following attractions:
- The BIG Shop, which will be the largest LEGO retail shop on the east coast!
- Build + Test
- Smoky’s Brick-B-Q
- DJ Dizzy’s Disco Spin
- LEGO NINJAGO World, home to LEGO NINJAGO The Ride
- LEGO Castle, where guests can ride the iconic coaster, The Dragon
- MINILAND (including scenes of renowned NYC buildings + landmarks like the Statue of Liberty)

A LEGO Knight, adjacent to The Dragon, one of two of LEGOLAND New York’s roller coasters.
The Dragon was manufactured by Zierer, and is a Force Five model. Similar models exist at LEGOLAND parks around the world.

Sculptures are beginning to take shape around the park.

A ride vehicle for Jay’s Gravity Force Trainer, located inside LEGO Ninjago World.
Outside Progress is being made on The LEGOLAND Hotel.
