Hogwarts Express – Update

It has been a long time coming. But after many months of rumours and sneak peeks, the train is finally on the track.

Way back in May the announcement broke, and already by summer we saw pictures capturing the building of the track and trains ready to take their place.

The tracks were laid and the covers quickly placed over the temporary stations.

The Hogwarts Express engines and carriages were spotted in a lot not too far away, other public photos appeared on the internet showing them being transported on trucks under partial cover. Obviously it isn’t a huge secret that they are on their way so not much is being done to ‘cover their tracks’… pun intended.

The very well themed replica of the Hogwarts Express is lowered in to place as workmen control its decent, I’m sure it was a pretty tense situation.

The locomotive finally takes its place on the tracks, where it will transport passengers between the 2 areas of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Universal has yet to announce what they will charge for the park-to-park privilige; and what they intend to do regarding entertainment on board the train. Passengers will of course be able to view backstage areas of both parks as they are transported, I for one can’t wait for this to open and will revolve my next US trip around it.
