I was fortunate enough to experience an emergency stop on Expedition Everest earlier this week! The ride was going along greatly, we went up the first lifthill with no problems, completed the first part of the ride, but once we started up the second, larger lift… everything stopped. After a few minutes three castmembers came climbing up the mountain. We were to be “evacuated” from the train! We got a nice walkback all the way back to the entrance of the ride… it was a great experience. Plus, I got a free ticket to ride it anytime. Check out the photos below:
