Coaster101 “Project Purple” Merch Now On Sale, 100% of Proceeds Benefit Pancreatic Cancer Charity Project Purple
Like many other coaster enthusiasts, we’re incredibly excited for Six Flags Great Adventure’s soon-to-be-announced newest roller coaster, codenamed Project Purple. What you might not realize is it shares that name with a charitable organization dedicated to finding a cure for pancreatic cancer and improving the lives of patients through support, hope, and compassion.
Earlier in the construction process, Six Flags Great Adventure partnered with Project Purple, turning the coaster’s construction into an awareness and fundraising moment for the charitable organization. At Coaster101, we wanted to join in and support the cause, which led us to create a limited edition merchandise design, available only until Project Purple’s official name is announced later this year. Best of all, 100% of the proceeds from sales of this design will be donated to Project Purple.
Available exclusively through our online merchandise shop, the limited edition merchandise features a purple Coaster101 logo coupled with an illustration of Project Purple’s tower element, which measures at an astounding 382′ above the ground below. The short-sleeve t-shirt features a two sided design, with a smaller “left chest” front logo and a larger “full back” version of the logo on the back with “Project Purple · 2027” written underneath. All other products – from totes, to coffee mugs, to stickers, magnets and other forms of apparel will feature the Coaster101 x Project Purple logo.

The 2027 coaster project is already generating excitement as visible construction continues to rise along the park’s Boardwalk area. Expected to be one of the tallest coasters in the world and a record-breaking multi-launch experience, the attraction represents the next major chapter in Six Flags Great Adventure’s evolution.
“We’re excited to partner with Project Purple and use the visibility of this incredible new attraction to help shine a light on an important cause,” Mike Fehnel, park president of Six Flags Great Adventure was quoted when the partnership between the park and Project Purple was announced. “This partnership is especially meaningful to me personally, having lost my father to pancreatic cancer. It’s a disease that impacts far too many families, including mine. As Project Purple rises on our skyline, we have an opportunity to raise awareness, inspire support and create a meaningful connection between unforgettable experiences and real impact.”

This design will only be available for a limited time until Project Purple is “officially” announced by Six Flags Great Adventure, so order your t-shirts, hoodies, buttons, magnets and more today, and support a great cause at the same time.
