Earlier today, Walt Disney World announced the music track list for the upcoming Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, scheduled to open on May 26, 2026. True to its predecessor, Dr. Teeth & The Electric Mayhem will be performing multiple songs that sync to the attraction while being blasted from the integrated in-train speakers – including a few songs with some celebrity guests. One of these songs, a cover “Love Rollercoaster” – originally made famous by the Ohio Players (and later covered by the Red Hot Chili Peppers) – will feature EGOT winner Jennifer Hudson and The Roots’ co-founder and drummer, Questlove.

Eagle-eyed theme park fans will know that this isn’t Questlove’s first appearance in a Central Florida theme park attraction (we’ll get into this very shortly!) – which got us thinking: How many actors are part of attractions at both Universal and Disney Parks?
The list might surprise you!
Questlove
Disney Attraction: Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets (Disney’s Hollywood Studios)
Universal Attraction: Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon (Universal Studios Florida)
Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson made his first theme park attraction appearance in Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon when the ride debuted in 2017. For the entirety of Fallon’s role as host of “The Tonight Show,” The Roots have been the house band and an integral part of the late night talk show. Questlove makes multiple appearances in Race Through New York – starting with the ride’s pre-show and safety spiel, below.
When Rock N Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets opens next month, we’ll have to see how Questlove and Jennifer Hudson complement Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem! Wonder who will be on drums for the song between Questlove and Animal?
Chris Pratt
Disney Attractions: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind (Epcot), Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission: Breakout (Disney’s California Adventure)
Universal Attractions: Jurassic World VelociCoaster (Islands of Adventure), Jurassic World: The Ride (Universal Studios Hollywood)

Whether he’s reprising his roles as Peter Quill/Star-Lord in the Guardians of the Galaxy films or Owen Grady as a member of the Jurassic World universe, Chris Pratt’s theme park presence can be felt at Universal and Disney parks on both coasts. While his appearance in Jurassic World VelociCoaster at Islands of Adventure is limited to the pre-show of the attraction, he is featured in both pre-shows as well as the actual attractions for Jurassic World: The Ride and both Guardians of the Galaxy Attractions.

You might think that Pratt also appeared in another Central Florida attraction – LEGOLAND Florida’s Masters of Flight – based on The LEGO Movie where Pratt voiced the film’s main character, Emmett. However, that was actually a “soundalike” voice from voice actor AJ LoCasio, who also voiced Emmett in the LEGO Movie 4D: A New Adventure Film.
Domhnall Gleeson
Disney Attractions: Star Tours: The Adventure Continues, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (Disneyland, Disney’s Hollywood Studios)
Universal Attraction: Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts (Universal Studios Florida)

Irish actor Domhnall Gleeson has roles in two of the most iconic science fiction and fantasy franchises of all time – Star Wars and Harry Potter – which have resulted in a number of iconic theme park attractions at Universal and Disney parks around the globe. Fortunately for theme park fans, Gleeson reprised these roles for the theme park attractions as well. In Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, he stars as Bill Weasley, the eldest of the Weasley children and a Gringotts bank employee.

Portraying the fanatical, high-ranking military leader of the First Order, General Hux in both Star Tours – Gleeson also appears on the side screen to command a First Order attack against the StarSpeeder during a battle on the planet Crait. On Rise of the Resistance, he appears in the pre-show/detention cell scene as a hologram alongside Kylo Ren, taunting riders before their escape.
Patton Oswalt
Disney Attraction: Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure (Epcot, Disneyland Paris)
Universal Attraction: Secret Life of Pets: Off The Leash (Universal Studios Hollywood)

Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash! Ride at Universal Studios Hollywood
Comedian Patton Oswalt is not seen, but rather heard on both Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Secret Life of Pets: Off The Leash. Like in their respective films, Oswalt provides the voice for Chef Remy, and Max, the Jack Russell terrier who is a main character in the Secret Life of Pets films in their attractions.
Unlike Chris Pratt, Oswalt does hold the distinction of a theme park voice appearance trifecta. Outside of Disney and Universal, Oswalt voiced villain Risky Business in The Lego Movie: 4D – A New Adventure, which is shown at LEGOLAND Parks and LEGO Discovery Centers around the world, along with Warner Bros. Movie World in Australia.
Jenny Slate
Disney Attraction: Zootopia: Better Zoogether! (Disney’s Animal Kingdom)
Universal Attraction: The Secret Life of Pets: Off The Leash (Universal Studios Hollywood
Comedian and Actress, SNL alum and co-creator of Marcel The Shell with Shoes On Jenny Slate also lends her voice to Disney and Universal Attractions on both coasts. She voices Gidget the Pomeranian in the Secret Life of Pets franchise along with sheep Dawn Bellwether in the Zootopia films.

While the character is not in the films, Slate also provides the voice for Heidi Howler, host of the Zoogether Day LIVE! broadcast in Zootopia: Better Zoogether.
Vin Diesel (Maybe?)
Universal Attractions: Fast & The Furious: Hollywood Drift (Universal Studios Florida) + formerly Backlot Tour (Universal Studios Hollywood) – Presumably: Fast & The Furious: Hollywood Drift (Hollywood & Orlando)
Disney Attractions?: Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout (Disney’s California Adventure), Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind (EPCOT)
On the subject of Guardians of the Galaxy and voiceover work – you might also think that you could add Vin Diesel to this list for his work in Fast and the Furious attractions in Orlando and Hollywood, as well as Baby Groot in the Guardians attractions on both coasts. However, there are conflicting sources if Diesel actually reprised his role as Baby Groot for the attraction adaptations. One source notes that the voice of Baby Groot was provided by voice actor Fred Tatasciore (more on him below). According to Wikipedia and TV Tropes, Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper (Rocket Raccoon) did not voice their characters for the Cosmic Rewind. However, Gizmodo reported that voice talents for the ride included both, and some users on Reddit suggest the audio may have been updated since opening.

In this case, I guess Diesel could say “I am (or am not) Groot.” Anyone know a way to get in contact with Vin Diesel to find out?

What about Vin Diesel, he played both Groot for the Guardians of the Galaxy rides, and he played Dominic Torreto for Fast and Furious: Supercharged
@Julian – we made an edit to the post above. There’s conflicting information out there on whether or not Vin Diesel voiced Groot for the rides.
