Blue Ice Cream Goes Back to Back!
We started with 70+ parks from across North America. After more than 54,000 individual votes cast, we’re ready to crown our 2026 Park Mania Champion – earning their second consecutive (and third overall!) Park Mania trophy, Kings Island!

Kings Island originally opened in 1972, and sits on 364 acres in Mason, Ohio – just northeast of Cincinnati. The park features 15 roller coasters – including the most wooden roller coaster track of any park in the world! Kings Island is scheduled to open Phantom Theater: Opening Nightmare in 2026!

Buoyed by a passionate and faithful fanbase on social media – we see you (again!), Passholder Facebook Groups and the Kings Island subreddit! – Kings Island’s path to the Championship saw them defeat Alabama Adventure and Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the early rounds. They then got past 2020 Park Mania Champion Holiday World before a victory over the newest entrant in Park Mania, Universal’s Epic Universe. In the semi-finals, Kings Island rallied to narrowly defeat Silver Dollar City, and, in a battle of the only two parks with multiple Park Mania titles, surged past an early lead from Indiana Beach to claim title #3!
This is Kings Island’s third Park Mania Championship, after titles in 2018 and 2025. They join 2022 and 2024 Champion Indiana Beach on the list of of Park Mania Champions including Silverwood – 2017, Hersheypark – 2019, 2020 champion, Holiday World. 2021 Champion Carowinds, and 2023 champion, Kings Dominion!

Was a member of A.C.E. back in the 80s (yes, 1980s). Being from Rhode Island we only had small traditional parks. Our first trip to Kings Island forever changed how we would view parks. The bar was set high and has remained my personal all time favorite.
