It’s a quest for a third Park Mania trophy for Indiana Beach and Kings Island in what some (there’s at least one or two of you out there) call “The most important bracket in March.”
This year, we’ve brought back our annual bracket event called Park Mania! (cleverly named in an effort not to get a cease and desist letter!) with a few twists.
Just like the “real” bracket, we’ve created a 64-park bracket with some “play-in” games to make the final field. While we have crammed in a few extra parks for the vote-in region (to include more parks overall), the process is still largely the same. It’s important to note, when creating the brackets, there are no rankings and no geographic regions. With the exception of the “vote-in” rounds, the parks were randomly selected for their match-ups. This year, just in case a park decides to go on a “run,” that’s how we’ve named the divisions this year.
Instead of the parks facing off against each other on the hardwood, we’re going to let you, the readers of Coaster101.com, decide your pick for your favorite park in North America!
We have updated our voting process slightly and are closely monitoring spikes in votes. We will not be reporting exact results on social media during this year’s Park Mania, and voting percentages will be hidden this year. We reserve the right to remove any potentially fraudulent votes from the results, which kind of defeats the purpose of this being fun. Bottom Line: Don’t cheat and ruin this for your favorite park and everyone else legitimately voting for them!
Each voting round will take place over several days, and the schedule will be as follows. We’ll create a post each day with new polls for voting. All voting will be done right here on Coaster101.com, and will end at approximately 8:00pm Eastern time on the specified date.

Round One Voting: Thursday, March 19 – Sunday, March 22
Round Two Voting: Monday, March 23 – Wednesday, March 25
Regional Semi-Final Voting: Thursday, March 26 – Sunday, March 29

I grew up in Monticello. Indiana Beach was in my back yard. My mama went to IDEAL BEACH as a child. It has been a part of our family for decades.
But they are using bots to win!
All of us are more than positive that Indiana Beach is using bots. Based on previous years and this year, they use them a lot. They should be disqualified at some point because of cheating

This is not fair! IB is cheating or park mania is rigged. Indiana beach is using bots. No freaking way people like this horrible trash park better than kings island, one of the best in the world. Seriously this many thoosies have not even been there. IB nation will not win after this.

As a voter, I don’t think Indiana Beach isn’t using bots. I do think that if people are upset over a friendly competition, then it shows that they are just haters. I absolutely love Indiana Beach. If you don’t think it’s fair, vote for yourself. Stop complaining over friendly competitions 🙂

I can see why people think indiana beach is using bots but has anyone considered maybe random people are voting for it because it’s the 100th anniversary and maybe– just maybe– we’re trying to get a win honestly?
While I want KI to win, my guess is IB has a very active social media presence or a very very dedicated fan base going for it. I don’t think they’re botting, and it’s still close, so KI people, time to rally the troops.
IB is actively promoting it on all social media they have.
People claiming indiana beach using bots but kings island went from averaging 700 or less votes per round to 1,500+ in the final round while indiana beach has maintained around 1,200 votes per last 3 rounds. The only bot cheaters are kings island. Kings island in less than 12 hours has gained 900 votes. Someone is skewing the heck out of Kings Islands votes right now and it’s obvious.

I think we all understand that These other parks are bigger and more attractive, but us locals know the Magic of a small intimate Amusement Park. Small town America is coming back!!

Indiana beach is winning not because of just one thing but because it has great rides, it’s not crazy expensive, its been around for a century and its got a little for every age rather they are young or old. It’s the best for that reason. Come on by this summer your going to have fun. Been going every summer for the past 35 years. Not i take my kids a few times a year with out camper. O yeah they have a campground with a troll that takes u to the park for free. Can’t beat it. Looking forward to another great season with them and another win because they are like no other park in the country. Hope to see ya around.
