Lake Winnie has announced Lookout Safari, a new family-friendly roller coaster for the 2026 season.
The coaster is a Zierer-manufactured “Tivoli” model and is being relocated from Indianapolis Zoo, where it was known as Kōmbo. It operated from 2021 through 2025 and was removed for the Zoo’s expansion.

In its new home at Lake Winnie, Lookout Safari will continue to feature a safari-style theme with jeep-inspired vehicles. The coaster includes a compact layout with nearly 653 feet of track. It stands nearly 20 feet tall and features a top speed of just under 20 mph, making it a great “step-up” coaster between the park’s Wacky Worm and the more intense Cannon Ball.
There are a few photos of the coaster under construction in an announcement video Lake Winnie shared on its Facebook page.
Lookout Safari is expected to open later in the the 2026 operating season, likely during the summer.
