Everything Must Ghoul: Kings Island Auctioning Props from Boo Blasters on Boo Hill

After 15 ghost-blasting years, Boo Blasters on Boo Hill has officially closed its creaky doors at Kings Island — and now, the ghosts, ghouls, and goblins need a new home. Yours, maybe?

Begininng on Wednesday, March 18 at 10am through Friday, March 27, Kings Island is auctioning off original pieces from the iconic dark ride, which closed in 2025 to make way for Phantom Theater: Opening Nightmare, opening in 2026.

In total, there are 80 lots in the auction, ranging from ride signage and the scoreboard at the end of the ride to practical set pieces and even a few of the laser targets. Starting bids vary per item, and range from $10-$50.

It’s worth noting that all items are considered “as-is” and items may show signs of wear, be incomplete, or have obvious damage or defects. During the removal process, all data and/or electrical and/or pneumatic supply connections were physically cut or removed. Electronic and/or mechanical components should be considered inoperable.

Also, before you bid, make sure that you (or someone you know) are able to pick up the items in person. The park is not shipping any of the props after the auction, and they must be picked up in person between March 31-April 12 at select times – save for Easter Sunday.
