Coaster101 is Looking for Writers and Content Creators!
These are exciting times to be a fan of roller coasters and the amusement industry. From coast to coast and around the globe, theme park and roller coaster designers are pushing the envelope with immersive and record-breaking attractions and experiences. If you’ve been following along in the last few months, you know there are a lot of exciting developments to keep up with.
So to help continue to deliver timely, relevant and unique content, we’re looking for some motivated and talented writers (and other types of content creators) to join the Coaster101 team.
What’s it like to be a member of the Coaster101 team?
If you love roller coasters and writing (or producing visual, video or social media content) about roller coasters and the amusement industry, this is the place for you.
The Coaster101 team is a close-knit group of enthusiasts who love sharing our passion for roller coasters with the community.
We hold ourselves to a high standard. We expect writers to contribute — on average — 2-3 posts each month.
While writing for Coaster101 is an unpaid gig, it’s a great way to build your portfolio and resume. And there are perks — invites to media days, special events, lots of free gear and more.
Who can apply?
Applicants must be 21 years or older. We start most new writers on a trial basis. Writing samples are required. Familiarity or experience with the WordPress content management system is a big plus.
