SeaWorld Announces Expanded Partnership with Bad Boy Mowers; New Landscaping Pavilion

Sometimes, the answer is right in front of you. While fans of SeaWorld Orlando continue to guess what is happening behind construction walls, we officially have an answer, courtesy of Bad Boy Mowers, the official lawn mower of SeaWorld. Believe it or not, it’s a landscaping pavilion, and it will feature a lawn-mower themed family attraction – Mow, Mow, Mow Your Lawn.

“We’re honored to have been the official lawn mowers of SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment for the last decade,” said Bad Boy Mowers CEO Phil Pulley. “With this new landscaping pavilion, we’re excited to continue to grow our relationship with the park while simulating the latest and greatest in Bad Boy Mower technology. It’s amazing to see our presence expand at SeaWorld Orlando, and we’re ready to have park guests ready to Mow with Attitude.

Designed by Metallbau Emmeln, the company behind Black Bear Trail at Dollywood, riders will hop aboard a simulacrum of a Bad Boy Mowers Zero Turn lawn mower, and meander through a simulated series of lawns and flowerbeds. A new on-board audio system will give riders the experience of cutting lawns while the scent of fresh cut grass will fill the noses of riders with an integrated patent-pending scent blaster.

“It has been a true honor for us to work with SeaWorld and Bad Boy Mowers on another exciting project in the United States,” stated Gunnar Vages, Metallbau Emmeln’s Managing Director. “I am confident that this ride will bring joy and inspire a love of landscaping in children for years.”

The new landscaping pavilion will reside on 10.13 acres (4.1 hectares) of land adjacent to the park’s Bayside Stadium, and will feature a new chef-curated restaurant with farm-to-table menu items, lush floral and topiary displays, and a new, to-be-named retail outlet.

“We’re thrilled to be adding the new Bad Boy Mowers landscaping pavilion and Mow, Mow, Mow Your Lawn to our Orlando park,” said Brian Andrelczyk, SeaWorld’s Vice President of Design and Engineering. “With new and exciting family thrill attractions in the recent past including Ice Breaker, Infinity Falls at SeaWorld and Reef Plunge and Riptide Race at Aquatica, we’re excited to continue as Orlando’s premier family destination.”

The Bad Boy Mowers Landscaping Pavilion is scheduled to open in early 2023. For more information, consult a calendar and just let the park announce whatever’s going on behind the fence when they’re ready.
