Pricing, Itinerary and Amenities Revealed for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser

If you’ve been following our coverage of the upcoming Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel under construction at Walt Disney World, you know that as a superfan of the galaxy far, far away, I could not be more excited to learn all that this experience will have to offer. But it has always come with one big question, how much will it cost to live out the ultimate Star Wars story? Well, we finally have an answer.

Disney has released an example of what the price for the two-night experience could be for a travel party booking a cabin on weeknights between August 20th, 2022 to September 17th, 2022. For a cabin of two guests, the price will be $1,209 per guest per night, for a total of $4,809. For three guests, meaning two adults and one child, it will cost $889 per guest per night, totalling $5,299, and for four guests, meaning three adults and one child, it will cost $749 per person, for a grand total of $5,999. It’s currently unclear what the options are for two-child rooms, three-adult rooms, or anything beyond what has been shared here, but we did get some other information about what being on the ship will entail. Below is a sample itinerary shared by Disney about what a guest’s experience could look like aboard the ship:

As you can see, this is a pretty busy two days. In this roundtable discussion released by Disney parks last week, the designers of the experience also stress multiple times that you can simply sit back and watch things unfold if that’s what you prefer, but for a minimum of $4,809, I certainly would want to be as involved as possible. The Imagineers also put a heavy emphasis on the fact that guests control the story. Your interaction with characters will affect what happens on the ship, and you can choose the path you want to live out. This sounds a lot like what Galaxy’s Edge was originally proposed as, however a lot of the promised interactivity never truly came to fruition, so I’m hoping it will be much more manageable with a smaller group of guests, roughly around 400 per voyage.

Also shared in the release was more details about what exactly your admission gets you. As a guest of the Halcyon starcruiser, you get: a 2-night stay in a cabin or suite, food and beverages on the starcruiser (excluding alcoholic and specialty beverages) and a quick-service meal at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo or other select locations at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for your planetary excursion to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, valet parking, and an exclusive Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser databand (MagicBand). It should also be noted that the voyage to Batuu to experience Galaxy’s Edge will also come with guaranteed entry to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and front of the line access to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. I personally am happy that park admission and food is included, especially given this sneak peek of the food aboard the ship that was shared last week:

Even though there is no pricing for the suites yet, we did get a look at what they will offer on the slides below:

And finally, Disney has released the first commercial for the Galactic Starcruiser Experience.
