Hersheypark Kickstarts 2021 with Springtime In The Park Event

The 2021 season will soon blossom at Hersheypark when the park’s annual Springtime In The Park event begins on April 2, 2021.

Hersheypark will open for Springtime In The Park on weekends during April, including April 2-4, 10-11, 17-18 and a new bonus weekend of April 24-25, 2021.

New for spring 2021, the park will debut two culinary experiences in the Hershey’s Chocolatetown area, which opened in 2020 along with the Candymonium hyper coaster.

The park shared delicious details about the sweets and treats guests will find in these two restaurants, both inspired by the visiou of chocolate entrepreneur and Hershey founder, Milton S. Hershey:

Milton’s Ice Cream Parlor located in the new region of Hershey’s Chocolatetown is inspired by Mr. Hershey’s early ventures in sweetness that came before his famous chocolate factory.

Expert Ice Creamologists will craft custom creations from more than a dozen 100% local dairy house-made ice cream flavors, including Candymonium, Reese’s Peanut Butter, Toasted Marshmallow, and Malted Memories, which is a flavor created using a Spartan Ice Cream recipe developed by Milton Hershey School students, to name a few.

Other offerings include a King Size Sundae served in a souvenir Hersheypark dish with 5 scoops of house-made ice cream, confetti cake, unlimited toppings, fresh whipped cream and a cherry; a “warm” ice cream sandwich; chocolate, strawberry and vanilla milkshakes; and two ice cream floats.

Some of those sweets can be seen in the gallery below:

A third eatery, The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio, will open on Memorial Day Weekend. That restaurant will include more savory offerings:

Guests looking for a savory option can grab a bite from the shareable menu featuring house-made potato chips, buckets of fries and chicken bites in Hersheypark souvenir buckets served with a choice of dipping sauces like beer cheese, smokehouse BBQ, chocolate mole, garlic parmesan, and more. Additional savory menu items include a Signature Grilled Cheese with parmesan-crusted sourdough bread; Chicken N Waffles, one of Mr. Hershey’s favorite dishes; and more.

The park also sent us some beautiful photos of their most popular roller coasters, including Skyrush, Fahrenheit, Great Bear, Candymonium along with other attractions.:
