Knott’s Boysenberry Festival is Returning as Taste of Boysenberry Festival

The annual Knott’s Berry Farm Boysenberry festival will live on this year, even with the rides in the park closed. Yesterday Knott’s announced that the Taste of Boysenberry Festival would kick off on March 5.

Although the park’s rides are expected to still be closed, you’ll still get a chance to enjoy the annual boysenberry festival this Spring with a food and merchandise event featuring over 80 boysenberry infused foods and drinks. Some of the foods this year include beer cheese soup with boysenberry drizzle, beef tips served with creamy boysenberry mashed potatoes, and boysenberry BBQ carne asada pizza garnished with cilantro and onions.

On the drink side, options will include things like boysenberry lemonade with basil, boysenberry ICEE floats, boysenberry mint and pineapple aqua fresca, plus much more. As always, there will be lots of boysenberry sweets and desserts to take home as well, plus gifts and merchandise from over 20 local craftspeople.

Throughout the pandemic Knott’s has pivoted to hosting seasonal food and beverage events, from their first summer event through Halloween and the holidays. As with those, for Taste of Boysenberry you’ll need to buy a tasting card ahead to get entry to the festival. Adult tasting cards cost $45 for five food tastings, and kids tasting cards will go for $20. Season Pass holders will get a discount.

The cards are for specific dates and times, and if they’re like past events they’ll sell out, so make sure to get yours ahead of time. Currently, the festival is scheduled to run for eight weekends through March and April, plus weekdays during Spring Break. Specifically,  3/5-7, 3/12-14, 3/19-21, 3/26-4/11, 4/16-18, 4/23-25 and 4/30-5/2. For more info and to buy your tasting cards, visit Knott’s.com.
