Happy March, everybody! We’re now in the month when seasonal parks start to open, and we’re getting close to the opening of 2020’s new coasters. In honor of that, we’re giving away a prize from the first 2020 new coaster: a West Coast Racers Nanocoaster! The new dueling coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain built by Premier Rides officially opened back on January 9th, 2020. The coaster quickly became one of my favorite racing/dueling coasters. It also looks great with the cross-over tracks and the awesome design elements inspired by West Coast Customs. You can check out our full review of it here.
Along with the opening, the park started selling West Coast Racers NanoCoasters. You assemble the stainless steel models onto an acrylic base, with no need for glue or adhesives. Designed by CoasterDynamix, the miniature replicas show up regularly in our coaster fan gift guides. The West Coast Racers model in particular looks awesome thanks to the dueling track. As best I can tell, the West Coast Racers Nanocoaster is only available at Six Flags Magic Mountain. So, if you’re a coaster model lover who doesn’t get to California much, make sure to enter!
I can’t wait to ride Jersey Devil! It will be my first RMC
I believe my most anticipated coaster for this year is the Jersey Devil! I rode Wonder Woman’s Golden Lasso Coaster during passholder preview and will be going to rode Rail Blazer the first if April. The raptor track is such a unique design and so much fun. It has me very much looking forward to a longer coaster of this design to see what else they can do with it.
