Rocky Mountain Construction Unveils Iron Gwazi Lead Car

2020 is shaping up to be a great year for new roller coasters. One of the primary focuses of coaster enthusiasts is the United States’ second “hyper hybrid” from Rocky Mountain Construction, Iron Gwazi at Busch Gardens Tampa. At this year’s IAAPA Expo, the event started with some “teeth,” as the lead car for the new coaster was unveiled to the public.

Fred Grubb, Founder and President of RMC, ready to unveil one of their latest creations.

The curtain was off, so let’s get a closer look!

The train was teal, purple and green. The bright colors really fit in well with the theming at Busch Gardens Tampa.

Your standard RMC restraints.

I love the attention to detail paid to the crocodile’s head. The geometric designs and angular look of the front of the train are great. The designs on the side of the train are fantastic as well.

Even the side panels look great.

I love this crocodile head, especially with the pink accents. Quite the menacing look!

Iron Gwazi will open at Busch Gardens Tampa in 2020. For more information, visit the park’s website, and follow them on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
