Christmas Candylane Returns to Hersheypark Starting Nov. 15

Hersheypark recently announced that their Christmas Candylane event will be returning for the 2019 holiday season from November 15th to January 1st. As the park describes it, “Sweet Holiday Celebration Makes Spirits Bright with Rides, Festive Lights and More.” Here is what the event will have to offer.

Weather permitting, the park will offer some of their great lineup of coasters for this event, including:

  • Laff Trakk
  • Sidewinder
  • sooperdooperLooper
  • Wild Mouse
  • Wildcat
  • Cocoa Cruiser

Also included will be their new-for-2019 indoor dark ride, Reese’s Cupfusion. Guests will also be able to visit the included ZooAmerica wildlife park and watch the animals enjoy special winter treats, learn about how the animals survive in the winter, and experience animal encounters during two educational programs on select dates and times. In addition to the animals at ZooAmerica, guests can visit the Candy Cottage for an up close look at Santa and all of his nine reindeer, one of the only experiences like it in America.

During the event, the park will be lit with more than four million sparkling lights. In addition, the guest-favorite NOEL light show will return. “The Littlest Tree” holiday show will also be offered inside the heated Chevrolet Music Box Theatre venue and an indoor photo opportunity with Hershey Characters will also be featured. In keeping with the sweetest time of the year, hot chocolate will be available for purchase during Christmas Candylane in all-day and all-season souvenir mugs. Other sweet treats like s’mores and King Size Shakes will also be offered, and if they’re anything like Hershey’s seasonal milkshakes, they’re a must.

In addition to the in-park festivities, Hershey Sweet Lights, a drive-through holiday spectacular featuring two miles of fields and wooded trails decorated with nearly 600 illuminated displays will also be available. Open nightly, families can enjoy the bright lights from the comfort of their car while listening to holiday music.

Guests can also book an overnight package at The Official Resorts of Hersheypark if they’re looking to sweeten their stay even more. The Hotel Hershey and Hershey Lodge resorts will offer Breakfast with Santa and Hersheypark Christmas Candylane packages during the holiday season. The Hotel Hershey will also offer a Lunch with Santa package. Hersheypark Camping Resort campground is open to guests year-round and features two-bedroom deluxe log cabins, perfect for the holiday season. Other holiday attractions around town include The Spa At The Hotel Hershey resort spa, MeltSpa by Hershey day spa, The Hershey Story Museum on Chocolate Avenue, Hershey Gardens and Hershey’s Chocolate World attraction.

For admission, one-day admission to Hersheypark Christmas Candylane is $23.95 when guests purchase tickets online at Hersheypark.com before Nov. 24, 2019; tickets are valid through Jan. 1, 2020. This is a great deal just for the park alone, not to mention the holiday festivities that come with it. Guests can also add unlimited 2019 Christmas Candylane visits, including free parking and a 15 percent food and retail discount to a 2020 Season Pass for only $30. Current Season Pass holders can enjoy Christmas Candylane as part of their year-long perks.
