Registration now open for SITE OSU 2020

Ohio State Theme Park Engineering Group has announced they will be hosting SITE OSU, their themed entertainment and amusement industry conference, again in January 17 – 19th, 2020. Students In Themed Entertainment (SITE for short) is a student-led conference specifically designed for university students. Bringing together Themed Entertainment clubs across North America, the goal is to inspire and support those with aspirations to pursue a full-time professional career in the Themed Entertainment Industry. 

This January, professionals and students alike will gather at Ohio State’s campus to share their stories, and to unite our favorite industry with three days of unparalleled networking potential. The first speaker announced for the conference is Sarah Kelley, Manager of Ride and Show for Universal Creative. The full schedule and speakers have not been finalized yet but there is an email list you can signup for to receive updates.

Who Should Attend SITE OSU 2020?

If you’re a student looking to enter the Themed Entertainment Industry, are part of a themed entertainment club, or are just now starting to get involved, SITE OSU is the conference for you! By attending this event you will get an inside look at how Themed Entertainment clubs throughout the nation contribute to our ever-growing industry. You will get the opportunity to see the projects and skills university students have been working on in preparation to one day get the job of their dreams. This event will be a great networking opportunity for professionals and students alike as well as a more intimate breakout sessions to share projects and expertise!

Please note, the conference is specifically designed for university students attending an accredited institution currently pursuing an associates, bachelors, graduate, or post-doctorate degree. Recent graduates within one year can also attend.
