Fun Spot Kissimmee Adding New Roller Coaster, Needs Help With Name

Fun Spot Kissimmee will be adding the park’s fourth roller coaster in 2020, and it needs a name!

According to Fun Spot, the new steel coaster will stand five stories tall, featuring a triple out-and-back design and a layout of 1,300+ feet. With a minimum height requirement of 42”, it seats six riders per train and will be wildly fun for the whole family!

According to RCDB, the coaster is a “Hi-Miler” from E&F Miler industries, which originally operated from 2003-2008 at the former Celebration City in Branson, MO as Jack Rabbit, and later operated from 2010-2018 at Wild Adventures in Valdosta, GA as “Viking Voyage.” A similar, albeit smaller, coaster exists at Fun Spot America’s Atlanta Property, known as Scream’n Eagle.

But what’s a roller coaster without a name? Fun Spot is holding a naming contest for the new attraction, and in addition to the bragging rights of knowing you named a roller coaster, the winner will receive two Fun Spot 2020 Season Passes and the opportunity to be among the first to ride the coaster.

The park is open to suggestion for exciting and family-friendly names, but encourages themes including: “Classic American Fun,” and “Florida life, legends, traditions and culture” With Fun Spot’s dedication to safe, clean family-fun, the park is hoping that the suggested names will fit this bill as well.

While suggestions will not be taken from social media, guests can enter their coaster names by clicking here and filling out the form. Multiple entries are allowed, and the deadline is Halloween, October 31.
