A Look At Finnegan’s Flyer and Cutback Water Coaster Construction at Busch Gardens Williamsburg

2019 is a big year for Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Water Country USA, as both parks will be unveiling new attractions this season; Finnegan’s Flyer, an S&S Screamin’ Swing at Busch Gardens Williamsbug, and Cutback Water Coaster, a “Rocketblast” hybrid water coaster from ProSlide Technologies.

Yesterday, Busch Gardens Williamsburg gave a hard hat tour of the construction of both attractions which are scheduled to open later this year. Though we were unable to attend, the park was kind enough to send along some photos of the construction progress!

Cutback Water Coaster

The slide is largely in place, and looks amazing!

Some slide pictures. The colors of Cutback Water Coaster are really going to pop!

Finnegan’s Flyer

Over at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, construction is full steam ahead on Finnegan’s Flyer, which is scheduled to open later this spring. Below, you’ll see various parts for the ride, and supports being created.

Finnegan’s Flyer will open near the entrance to the park’s Ireland area.

It’s going to look amazing when finished!

Thanks to Busch Gardens Williamsburg for sending over these photos! We hope to get up to Williamsburg later in the season to experience Cutback Water Coaster and Finnegan’s Flight first hand!
