Kentucky Kingdom Announces Gravity Group Wooden Coaster Kentucky Flyer for 2019

After several weeks of social media teases, Kentucky Kingdom has announced their 2019 Project, and it’s a new roller coaster!

Kentucky Kingdom will be building a Gravity Group, LLC Family Wooden Coaster named Kentucky Flyer.

Featuring 1280′ feet of track, a 45′ tall drop at a 42-degree angle, multiple 54-degree banked turns, and 12 airtime elements, Kentucky Flyer will be Kentucky Kingdom’s sixth roller coaster.

It will feature a top speed of 35mph and Timberliner Trains, and have a height requirement of 40″, perfect for “Coaster Enthusiasts in-training.” No opening date was given, other than “2019.”

Kentucky Flyer’s statistics are slightly larger than those of Oscar’s Wacky Taxi, another Gravity Group Family Coaster that opened earlier this year at Sesame Place in Langhorne, PA.

This post will be updated when more information becomes available.

Nice! If it’s anything like the one at Quassy, don’t let the small size throw you off, these little rides can pack a great punch! Glad to hear good news!
