Yesterday, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi officially opened its launched “Turbo Track” roller coaster.
Four rows of three riders sit back-to-back in odd, spaceship-like trains, launching out of the station at 63 mph.
It’s a short ride — Turbo Track’s stretches just over 590 feet long.
At 210 feet, Turbo Track’s spiraling spike is the highest point on Yas Island. The park says that “major structural changes” were made to the glass roof and building to accommodate the coaster, which exits the structure.

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is growing rapidly. Turbo Track is the third ride to open at the theme park in the last 12 months. Later this year, the park will debut the bizarre-looking Mission Ferrari, the theme park’s fifth roller coaster. Stay tuned for updates!
