Storm Chaser at Kentucky Kingdom continues the race toward completion. The track is nearly finished, so hopefully testing will begin within the next few weeks. In the meantime, let’s check in on a slightly muddy construction site to get a closer look at the progress.
The brush slightly shields the soon-to-be airtime-filled bunny hops.
The final helix that leads back toward the station is looking good.
But it’s still missing a few pieces of track.
The helix’s remaining ledgers are visible on the right-hand side of the photo above.
Clearance testing has also begun, which means testing can’t be that far away.
