If you ever find yourself at Niagara Falls and want a unique view of the breathtaking waterfalls, take a ride on the Niagara SkyWheel! This attraction opened in 2006, stands 175 feet tall and was designed and built by Chance Morgan.
The SkyWheel is hard to miss, it is located right in the middle of Clifton Hill, a street lined with numerous entertainment and dining options on the Canadian side of the falls.
The ride lasts between 10 and 15 minutes and you will get to see great views of the American and Horseshoe Falls. I recommend taking a ride during the day and then again at night when the falls are lit up with multiple changing colors!
The SkyWheel is open year-round and rides cost around $10. Its 42 cars can hold up to 8 people each and are air conditioned in the summer and heated during the winter. Definitely check this out when you are in the area!
*Fun Fact: Niagara Falls was more frozen last winter than it has been in over 50 years!
