Universal Studios Hollywood announced this morning the opening date of the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter as part of their countdown to the new attraction. The Wizarding World will be open April 7, 2016, earlier than I was expecting, which is awesome! Check out the announcement video below.

In case you missed it, the park has been releasing more and more information on the new area, including video tours of the sites and attractions and an interactive website filled with information.
More info on the new attractions will no doubt be coming out over the next four months, but for now Harry Potter fans can start making their plans to visit the new Wizarding World! Who plans to be there for day 1?
