Batman: The Ride at Six Flags Fiesta Texas soft-opens to season pass holders this weekend, giving members of the public a preview of the first-of-its-kind “Free Spin” coaster from S&S Worldwide.

This 4th dimension “Batman” coaster may not emulate the smooth flight the caped crusader would take through Gotham City, but it’s sure to be a flight you won’t soon forget.
The coaster stands 12 stories tall and features two beyond 90-degree “raven drops.” The magnetic technology that results in the ride’s flipping gives riders a feeling of weightlessness as they careen down the 1,000+ feet of track. Each of the coaster’s eight-seat trains reach a top speed of 38 mph.
