There is a lot going on at Carowinds this offseason. Not only are they building the world’s tallest, fastest, and longest Giga coaster, but they are also constructing a brand new entrance plaza as well as a Slingshot attraction. As part of a press event at Carowinds today, we had the opportunity to document the progress on the entrance as well as the new Slingshot. This bridge will welcome guests to Carowinds new entrance plaza. Fury 325 flies over it before going into an over-banked turn and diving under the bridge.

Carowinds GM Mike Fehnel noted that the Slingshot “Capsule” will line up with the loop of Vortex, Carowinds’ B&M Stand-Up Coaster.
