Legoland Florida Hotel Construction Photos

Next summer, Legoland Florida Resort plans to debut the Legoland Hotel, establishing the growing complex as a true multi-day destination.

The five-story Lego-themed Hotel will feature 152 themed rooms and suites, thousands of Lego models and interactive play areas.

Unfortunately (or fortunately?), the hotel itself is not made with the famous plastic building blocks themselves. Merlin Entertainments (whose logo is on the flag in the above photo) owns all of the Lego properties, as well as many other entertainment destinations.

From the park’s website:

All 152 guest rooms are themed, so your family can choose from one of three popular Lego lines: Pirates, Kingdom, or Adventure Rooms include two separate sleeping areas, with a king-size bed for grown-ups, and a separate area for up to three little ones, complete with a bunk bed, pull-out trundle bed and their very own TV!

Below, see previews of what those three room styles at Florida’s Legoland Hotel will look like:

In the 2014 park map below, you can see the hotel’s placement within the resort, as well as the recently opened Legoland Water Park.

Merlin has done an excellent job bringing this failed park back to life. I’m sure the addition of a hotel will only enhance the resort as a premier destination.

The park is offering discounts if you pre-book your stay in the hotel. Booking is now open from June 15, 2015 through Jan. 31, 2016. Learn more here.
