Flight of Fear With the Lights On

If you’ve ever wanted to see the intricate web of steel that is an indoor Premier “spaghetti bowl” coaster, look no further than this video shared by KICentral.com.

The enclosed launched roller coaster debuted at Kings Island in 1996 as The Outer Limits: Flight of Fear. It and its sister coaster of the same name at Kings Dominion were the world’s first roller coasters to launch trains using a linear induction motor. After launching 0-54 mph, riders navigate over 2,700 feet of twisted track which includes four inversions.

I’ve been on both Flight of Fear and an outdoor version of the same coaster. There’s something about being enclosed that makes Flight of Fear a significantly more exciting ride.
