The latest Shanghai Disneyland construction update from The Theme Park Guy shows what looks like the completed track for the Tron inspired roller coaster. The type of roller coaster is presumably a Vekoma motorbike coaster with motorcycle style seating. The coaster begins with an outside launch into a giant banked turn before rising high into the air and into the skeleton of a large show building.
If you compare these construction photos to the diagram posted on Screamscape you can get a pretty good idea of the coaster’s layout. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of special effects are used inside the giant building once it’s fully enclosed.
