Six Flags Great America released new images of the final design of Goliath which includes a redesigned lift hill structure not seen before on this kind of roller coaster.
The layout itself hasn’t changed, but the lift hill and Zero-G Stall has received a new steel beam structure reminiscent of Intimidator 305 and Skyrush. This would also be why the lift portion of the structure hasn’t started construction either, as it usually is the first part of a roller coaster to be constructed.
Six Flags also released concept images of what the old Iron Wolf station and queue entrance will look like, themed with Roman columns and paintings.
