Kings Island sent us two great pictures of the top section of Banshee’s first vertical loop which circles the B&M inverted coaster’s lift hill.
From Kings Island: “Workmen on Wednesday insert a section of track to top off the loop interacting with the lift hill on the world’s longest inverted roller coaster, ‘Banshee,’ now under construction at Kings Island. Riders will scream their way through 4,124 feet of track and seven inversions at speeds up to 68 mph on the $24 million attraction. Banshee will make its debut when Kings Island opens for the 2014 season in April.”
The below screenshot was taken from the Banshee live view earlier this afternoon which shows the loop completed:

I am so excited about this ride! going to be my first inverted roller coaster!!
The first drop with in the new B&M invert style looks like it will pack a wallop given it’s size. I love how it immediately moves into another huge curving element right after. This will be a new kind of ride because of the elevation change, new drop style and new trains. I have no doubt this will be a very satisfying ride.
Wanna ride it so bad, but i dont know how i would get there
