In 2014, Legoland Florida will open Duplo Valley, an area dedicated to the toddler-aged crowd.
The current toddler area will receive new attractions and significant renovations as part of its transformation into Duplo Valley.
According to a press release from Legoland Florida, “Planned enhancements will bring the Lego Duplo line of preschool building toys to life with new farm-themed attractions, an air-conditioned indoor play area, and a water play area all geared to toddlers ages 2 to 5.”
New rides to the area include a train, a mini tractor ride, and a water play area. The area’s flagship attraction will be the Duplo Train “where toddlers can board a train on their own or with their parents to explore countryside-themed scenery passing through farms, fishing holes and campgrounds.”

“Nearby, toddlers can jump on a tractor just their size and help the farmers plow the cornfields and hunt for missing farm animals. For those looking to cool off, the new splash and play area will be refreshingly fun with intermittent water spouts and interactive water elements set among larger than life farm animals with a soft deck for safety.”
The existing Duplo Barn will be enhanced to fit into the new Duplo Valley area, allowing kids to play in an air-conditioned space.
If you’re visiting Legoland Florida with a toddler, visit Legoland’s website to find more activities for them to enjoy.
Legoland Florid is home to more than 50 rides, shows and attractions dedicated to children of ages 2 to 12.
It is interesting that so many different parks are going kid-friendly in 2014.
I’m looking forward to LEGOLAND Florida will expand and add an official LEGOLAND Florida Hotel similar to the one in California.
