From Kings Island: “The new Banshee roller coaster at Kings Island is taking shape with work crews installing several pieces of track this week in the station area of the ride. Banshee will be the longest inverted roller coaster in the world when the ride opens in April 2014.”

“Riders will scream their way through 4,124 feet of track and seven inversions at speeds up to 68 miles per hour. Visitors to Kings Island can get an aerial view of the construction of Banshee from the Eiffel Tower on the last public operating day of the summer this Sunday, September 8. After Sunday, Kings Island will be closed to the public until September 20, when the seventh season of Halloween Haunt begins.”
